Il Progetto P.S.S.G.
Il Progetto P.S.S.G. nasce dall’idea, affatto peregrina, che una più approfondita cultura del comportamento dell’automobile e della sua condotta di guida, possano essere un mezzo di diffusione della cultura della sicurezza in genere.
Non è, infatti, un mistero, che buona parte degli incidenti stradali che, purtroppo riportano gravi conseguenze, siano causati, essenzialmente, da una assoluta mancanza di conoscenza del comportamento veicolare, finanche delle norme più elementari.
Infatti, sempre scorrendo le statistiche ufficiali sulle cause d’incidenti stradali, si osserva che le prime riconosciute sono, rispettivamente, laguida distratta o indecisae lamancanza del rispetto delle regole di circolazione(precedenza, semafori, ecc.), che rappresentano quasi il 40% delle cause complessive di sinistro.
Le automobili moderne, inoltre, hanno un peso medio nell’ordine dei 1.300-1.400 kg, e questa massa che si muove, a velocità anche contenute, ha un comportamento, rispetto alle più banali leggi della fisica, molto prevedibile se ben conosciuto.
Da queste considerazioni nasce l’idea di unProgetto con lo scopo di testare, con una serie di surveys sulla percezione della sicurezza stradale, un campione ragionato e significativo, in età d’ingresso al mondo della guida automobilistica, da selezionare tramite un test in rete.
Costruito il campione ne viene misurata la percezione ex ante per poi sottoporlo ad un Corso diGuida Sicuracon istruttori professionisti selezionati tramite la rete della Scuola Federale CSAI (Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana) e la Polizia Stradale, da tempo impegnata attivamente in questa funzione, ed infine monitorarne ex post l’effettiva percezione della Sicurezza dopo aver sostenuto il Corso.
L'obiettivo principale è di gettare le basi, scientificamente dimostrate, riguardo alla necessità o meno di rivedere i metodi di acquisizione del documento di guida, e di riscontrare l’effettiva utilità di corsi specifici d’istruzione alla guida, che potrebbero, in un futuro non troppo remoto, diventare istituzionalmente riconosciuti per l’acquisizione, per esempio, sia di punti di recupero sulla patente, che proprio, magari, come cumulo di punti aggiuntivi.
